comment:I'm the poster child for Frugal. This is my first high dollar lens for my A7 II. I adapt the other lenses through a LA-EA3. I also have (2) A99's (2) A77's (1) A6000 and lots of older A mount camera's. I have over 100 lenses including high end Sony and Minolta A mount lenses, lots of Zeiss M42 and P6 (medium format) glass. This is by far the sharpest lens I own (not the most expensive). I asked a friend in the camera business if I should do the Sigma ART 24mm or this lens. He told me not to think about anything but the Sony 'G'. He did not steer me wrong. I have only had if for a few weeks (purchased it used - with no hood), but I don't see my assessment changing. This lens is worth every penny. In fact I'm no eyeing a 200-600 because this lens is so strong.
