ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony 200-600
Sony 100-400
price paid:≈$1208
positive:Great zoom range 150-500 is perfect to me.
Really sharp at all focus lengths.
Lighter than the Sony 200-600mm, great for handholding.
Arca-Swiss foot (Why Sony why?)
Blue (water) or any fringing are absent more or less.
Tripod collar can be removed to lose even more weight.
Stabilised.
One thing is that you can lock the zoom at any zoom level by pushing the zoomring forward in addition to the 150mm hard lock.
negative:No teleconverter so far...
comment:Actually used with the Sony a1 (50MP)

Love this lens, and it's a great companion to the Tamron 35-150. Now, all I need is a 12/14-35mm lens and with just three lenses one cover the most.
One can do great "macro" shots both at 150mm and even at 500mm.
