price paid:21 USD (used)
positive:It zooms and focuses
negative:Worst image quality
Very cheap feeling
No distance encoder
comment:Other than some wear on the hood this copy is very clean. Silver 271D "MADE IN JAPAN"

The image quality is bad at the wide end and horrible at the long end and not good anywhere in between. Stopping down to f/8 doesn't really help. The directional glow at high contrast edges indicates an alignment problem.
