ownership:I used to own this lens
compared to:18-135 SAM
35-105 MAF MkI
price paid:250 USD
positive:great travel range
picture quality fully acceptable
sharp enough with one step closing
negative:slow AF with lower cameras
not good for indoor shooting

comment:I liked the lens with my A55, when it gave me some great pics. Then more then a year it was used by my son with A37 though its AF was too slow for action pics he took, otherwise performig quite nice. And I was really suprised with its quite new life with A65. It gives not only sharp pics but also its AF speeded a lot with no noticable difference to 18135 SAM with this camera. Pics quality of both of this lense are a little bit worse comparing to 33-105 MAF Mk I, but zoom range compensates it totally
