ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Minolta 28-135/4-4.5, 70-210/4, 100-300 APO, SAL 18-70/3.5-5.6
price paid:350 USD (like new)
positive:nice colors
great zoom range
good build
lightweight
negative:rather slow AF
some CA
distortions (at wide and tele ends)
comment:If you know what hyperzoom is, this is the best lens you can get. It has all the disadvantages of a hyperzoom (somewhat slow, a bit dark, some distortions, etc).
But still, it produces really great results without the need of changing lenses! So, if you know what you're doing, go and get this one!
