comment:Had this lens on my camera two days in a row, One for Night/Low Light use and one for Day and Good Light / Macro Use. Picked this up last week at a closeout sale for $250. The store i bought this as was closing their electronics department so i got a real steal.

The First night using this lens I was really disappointed. Couldn't focus in low light situations and had to us MF (which isn't that bad). Also do to the slow speeds the camera is prone to shake and not so great for low light use, especially when using zoom.

However today i used in during the day in great light, and i was really impressed. The lens handled flare well and was sharp and crisp in good light conditions. The macro feature and ultra zoom came in very handy. Vignettes showed up wide open, but nothing Lightroom can't fix. Over all very pleased with this lens especially at $250 USD! What a steal!
