Slow AF but not too bad
comment:I always wanted to buy this lens but was waiting to get it at the right price. I have managed to get it prety cheap in mint condition.
For what it is, it is an excellent lens surpassing my expectations by miles. Image is on par with 100-200 or SAL555-200 with excellent range. Almost as sharp as BC and 100-300APO lens...
I just got it today and have taken aprox 100 shots...Wide open is good but much better stopped down a bit.. This is my new walkaround lens. Size is good and it is smaller than my Tamron 17-50 lens...
