ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma 20-40;
Minolta 50 f1.7;
Sony 18-70;
Sigma 70-300 DG Macro Super
price paid:100 euro
positive:Convenient price,
sharpness,
becomes 300mm at 1.5x
negative:slow af,
unuseful af in low light
comment:a very cheap zoom for dslr, hi quality zooms for this cameras are too expensive and the average 70-300 being them Minolta, Tamron or Sigma get all poor reviews in the sharpness above 200mm, so i bought this cheap one and wait...it's sharp at all ranges, the image may look a bit "flat" and colors a bit "point and shot", in low light it can't actually auto focus even with flash assist, nonethless a good zoom for the price
