The weight for Handholding
comment:This lens is complimenting my Sony 70 - 400 G1. I purchased this in hopes of better AF consistency and speed and for the additional 200mm on the long end. Anyone looking to upgrade for these reasons will not be disappointed in this lens. The image quality is very much on par with my 70 - 400 right through and past 400mm. At 600mm the quality comes down a touch, but is still better than very good. No CA or flare to speak of. No distortion. In Canada you can register with tamron and your 6 year warranty becomes 10 years. Check out my video review here:
