ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sony 70-200 F2.8 ssm G1
price paid:1800 CAD
positive:Solid build, smooth zoom mechanism, Fast AF, Range
negative:A bit heavy, I got some hunting on a busy background at 600mm
comment:I'm not a big user of tripod, so I need to learn to bring one with this lens because it is 2kg in weight, I did not see flares even shooting quit close to direct sun. Rating of 4,5 in sharpness but not sure maybe I'm the one at fault. Limited testing but quite satisfied with it in general.
