ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma 50-500
Sony 70-400 G
price paid:1069 USD New
positive:A fun lens, not to bad to hand hold but you will want something to support it between shots seems fast to focus. Far more reliable in AF than the Bigma
Certainly draws a lot of comments from others. Tried to get a lens flare but could not.
negative:No case provided
Lens hood is a bit fiddly to put on
comment:Manual focus is easy when hand holding, can be done with the third finger of your right hand. I have the Tamron 1.4x & 2x TC Image quality is still good and Auto Focus still works with the 1.4x mounted. I did find the Thinktank Digital Holster 50 V2 and the Thinktank Lens Changer 75 Ver. 2 fit this lens
