comment:The lens is outstanding. Metal bayonet. Sharp like the other prime lenses i used to have. Better wide angle than the 28-75 but shorter in tele. I'd wish it would be 17-70/2.8 Would have been more convenient.

It's weight is perfect. Not too heavy. Not a tank like the Sigma 24-70.

So far i haven't noticed any barrel distortion or vignetting like some tests say. At least for me it would not be a show stopper.

Size is perfect, not to long, this prevents better, the bottom shadow when using flash at short distance to object. It's not completely gone, but much better than the 28-75.

Highly recommended!!
