comment:I have returned to a lighter macro lens after a period with the Tamron 180 macro ( a stunning lens but very big and heavy) This Tamron 90 lens is nice and light, has a focus limiter, focus speed is not bad for a macro lens and the image quality is top notch. Build quality is good and not too heavy, fine for hand holding. I am delighted with it. I find it more responsive than the Sony macro , a lot quicker to focus than the Tamron 180 too.
