comment: | I just picked this (non-di 72E version) up on ebay in excellent condition for $250. I am extremely pleased with it so far. Build is plasic but quite solid and fairly lightweight. Good weight for the 5D. I don't mind the AF/M switch. It seems pretty sturdy to me. Outstanding portrait lens (poor man's 85 1.4) as it is very sharp at f/2.8. For macro, it would be nice to have the sharpness extend to f/16 and beyond because of the extremely narrow DOF but, that said, it is still useable up there. Overall verdict: Absolutely Outstanding for the money! |
