comment:I have the non Di version and I'm very pleased with it. The macro results are fantastic - sharp, nice punchy colours and good working distance with the 1.5X crop. Prior to the 100 Softy, I used this as a fast portrait/telephoto lens and it held up well - sharp at 2.8 and nice for candids from afar. The focus limiting switch was a great help in speeding AF up. Overall a very nice lens.
