positive:Fantastic IQ
Great Colour
1:1 Macro
Compact and Light
Recessed front element - I don't always need the hood
negative:Slow focus
comment:One of my favorite lenses, works well with LA-EA4 adapter or LA-EA3 if you don't mind manual focus. It really can be used as a portrait lens especially on a fast A mount body like the A99ii. I also use it to scan film negatives and it captures incredible detail. I'll likely keep this lens long after I fully convert to E mount. It just looks so good, works so well and I can't justify spending over $1000 to get a newer macro. It's almost worth buying an LA-EA5 just for this lens.
