Tamron SP AF 90mm F2.8 Di Macro A-mount lens review by jarnoshen
|jarnoshen#7910 date: Aug-31-2010|
flare control: 5
|ownership:||I have experience with this lens|
|compared to:||Tamron AF 60 F2 Di II|
|positive:||Almost nothing, except AF is quick.|
|negative:||Very noisy when AF.|
AF/MF toggling is not convenient.
Poor color especially when backlighting.
Not sharp enough even at F5.6.
Big out-focus when AF at macro.
Not useful focal length on APS-C
|comment:||Generally, it's not a good lens in comparison with its popularity.|
Especially, when I use this lens with Tamron 60 F2 together, I found the 60/2 is much better in color and sharpness and almost everything else.
It's 1/3 cheaper than 60/2 but I don't think it's a worth lens after all.
