positive: | Almost nothing, except AF is quick. |
negative: | Very noisy when AF. AF/MF toggling is not convenient. Poor color especially when backlighting. Not sharp enough even at F5.6. Big out-focus when AF at macro. Not useful focal length on APS-C |
comment: | Generally, it's not a good lens in comparison with its popularity. Especially, when I use this lens with Tamron 60 F2 together, I found the 60/2 is much better in color and sharpness and almost everything else. It's 1/3 cheaper than 60/2 but I don't think it's a worth lens after all. |
