positive:built like a tank, constant F4, beautiful color rendition
negative:Non-removable lens holder, no built in lens hood, 77MM filter, spun opposite when zooming compared to other lenses lenses
comment:I LOVED this lens. It has to be one of the best zoom ranges for DSLRs. I owned it for 7 months and sold it beacuse I began shooting at weddings and didn't need the range nor weight. Also, when shooting wildlife it wasn't enough range to really get up close to animals.
F4 was great but it still seemed soft.
