ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Sigma EX 17-35
Minolta 17-35 D
Sigma 24/1.8
Minolta 20/2.8
price paid:100 euro
positive:Very solid build, bit heavy but well balanced on a 7D
Price (cheap)
negative:Little bit to much distortion on the wide end, but it is a wide so can live with that.
comment:After trying a whole bunch of 'wides' and never being satisfied, I think I've found my lens. The Sigma 24/1.8 is a sharper lens but not wide enough. There a different versions around, make sure if you want one of these that you get the one with the bright orange ring
