positive:Beautifully made. Feels like a Zeiss lens. Super sharp and wonderful rendering.
negative:Noisy AF that is a bit to talkative in AF-C mode, but as it is so wide angle I tend to use it in AF-A. It is to noisy for a video lens, for that you need the manual version.
comment:This lens could easily be a Sony GM in terms of sharpness and general IQ. The colours and contrast are Zeiss like. My shop-bought copy, is perfectly centered and has a nice tight hood.

The disappointment is the talkative AF which sounds old fashioned by current standards.

Overall the image quality was a real surprise, I just wasn't expecting it to be top draw, which it definitely is. It is a keeper as far as I'm concerned.

My advice is to buy from a camera store where you can test it before you part with your money.
