positive:- build quality
- colours
- focus-clutch mechanism
- second hand price
negative:- flare
- heavy
comment:This lens is a bit soft wide open (great for portraits), but sharp when closed down to about f4.5 or more. When using flash wide open it produces a light blurry glow around bright surfaces, which gives the picture a dreamy effect. It has some issues with flare though. Great colours!

Great lens IMHO! You have to learn about it's characteristics, but when you do, it gives you what you want.
