| comment: | Outstanding image quality. Razor sharp wide open corner to corner. Beautiful bokeh. Very good AF, although it seems to sometimes wobble a bit around the focus point, but it is just a tiny fraction of a second. Almost a dream lens, other than a bit heavy and large for being an APS-C optic, and the flimsy hood, which may slip in the groove with the wrong edge. When compared to the Samyang 75mm F1.8, the sharpness at 2.8 of the Samyang is roughly comparable to the Viltrox wide open at F1.2! The only advantage of the Samyang is the size and weight. |
