positive:Well made, weather sealed, excellent IQ
negative:Hood plastic is not a perfect match for the black of the lens.
comment:I bought mine 2nd hand on eBay. The price has come down quite a lot lately as people trade up to the Sony 24-GM. Some sellers are still trying to get high prices but hold out for an auction and if you don't win just wait for the next.. It's worth it.

This is a really nice lens. I'm not a fan of the curvy-smoothy-slippery styling but I love the look, saturation, colour, sharpness and detail of the images that it makes. It focuses close enough to get nice blurry backgrounds and to separate the subject, it is beautifully balanced on the A7r3 & r2 and isn't too heavy at 391g, including the hood.

This is an easy lens to recommend. If you don't want to stump up for the 24GM the Zeiss is not very far behind it in any regard. It is now good value, on the second hand market at least.
