comment: | I am very happy with my copy of this lens. Somewhat soft wide open, really sharp already at f/4 (looking at 100% crop). Nice colour and contrast. Beautiful fisheye distortion on 35mm film, mild curves on a cropped sensor. Preset aperture would be nice to have, just like on Peleng. My copy didn't need any modifications or adjustments, it was properly focusing at infinity right out of the box and focusing ring was not bumping into the hood. Purchased from Ukraine - DVDTechnik (h_o_h_o_l). Minolta mount version, not M42 + adapter. |
