comment:This is the first real lens that I bought for my a200. It is very sharp, even at F2.8. 1:1 magnification opens up a whole new world of macro photography. The focal length on APS-C makes it pretty nice for macro photography while still being able to used as a general purpose lens. The bokeh is very nice , but I don't really have any good lenses to compare it too. The build quality is nice and solid, but I gave it a 4 for it's small focus ring. I recommend that anyone looking to try macro photography pick up this lens.
