ownership:I own this lens
compared to:Beercan
Minolta 28-85/3.5-4.5
price paid:
positive:Fantastic bokeh, great for low light photography, built like a tank.
negative:Maybe a bit too long as a portrait lens with the 1.5x crop factor.
comment:My first G lens, makes my other lenses look like junk (not the new 35/2 which purchased together and maybe the 50/1.4 and the beercan can compare in terms of image quality). Am still pondering whether should keep it. My inclination right now is to sell my other "junk" and hold on to this lens.
