positive:excellent image quality in all respects, easy to carry
comment:We have high expectations for a prime, macro lens and this lens does not disappoint. Image quality is as good as you can get, in all respects. It is of a size and weight that makes it easy to carry around and it's a good focal length for macro photographs of flowers. Would I like it better if it was f/2? For film, sure, but f/2.8 plus digital high ISO still makes this a good lens for low-light photography. This is a lens that I find myself reaching for more and more.
