| positive: | Excellent bokeh, amazingly sharp (starting from F2). |
| negative: | Hunts for focus sometimes (rarely, but happens). A bit soft at F1.4. |
| comment: | I got this lens off ebay at 140euros. In my opinion you cannot even compare it with the lens kit at 50mm (1.5x -> 75mm) on the 5D. Highly recommended, especially for low light situations and for portraits (still, a better suitable choice for portraits would probably be the KM 35mm/F1.4 G, because of the 5D crop factor you actually get 75mm). |

| comment: | Better color reproduction than the compared zoom lense. So small, it can fit anywhere in the camera bag. f/1.4 is clearly not usable, unless you want a really soft picture. Get near perfect around f/4 and up. |

| comment: | Work very well on my 7D, Nice for Indoor portrait very usable a 1.4 and better from 2 to 11. I paid for it 329 Euros in France. Some back focus in low light , so I put 5600 HS flash without turn it on, and use the flash illuminator for focusing easier.And become as quick as in good light |
